| Student shot at Mitchell High; second school shooting in 8 days
Mitchell High School senior Sharmain Mayes weeps for her friend Stacey Kiser as her mother Shaundra Mayes takes her out of school following a shooting that left Kiser in critical condition. Kiser, 19, was shot in the school's cafeteria during a PE class that contained about 75 students. The shooter, a 17-year-old sophmore, was taken into custody after turning the gun over to assistant football coach Darryl Mongomery immediately following the shooting. .
McCain and Obama turn fire on each other
Hillary's attacks against Obama only make her look angry. People are sick of the Clinton's, their antics, their deals, and their arrogance in assuming the presidency should go to the former First Lady who has only served a few years in the Senate and while there, never lead any opposition to Bush's disastrous foreign policies. Had Clinton shown any leadership in the Senate, had she not botched the health care issues Bill threw to her in the first year of his presidency, she might be a credible candidate even though she has no real record of public service and certainly nothing like 35 years as she claims. But HIllary's judgement has always been bad. America needs positive leadership. .

Daily Blabber Celebrity Gossip Blog from iVillage Entertainment
I know you thought Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds got married last weekend, in a posh ceremony on a island off Bora Bora, but you were mistaken. Their nups may have been fancy and fabulous -- but they weren't legal. In the Unites States, an international wedding is only recognized if the ceremony adheres to local laws in the country it takes place. Bora Bora is under French law, which stipulates a wedding is valid only if the couple has been in the territory for 30 days (they hadn't) or if they are married in a town hall by a mayor (they weren't). Tracey's rep said that the couple's island party "was a ceremony to bind Eddie and Tracey spiritually" and that they would make it legal when they got back home. I think this is great news for Tracey -- she still has a chance to change her mind and run for the hills.
